My career

My story

I am a Certified Financial Education Instructor with over 25 years of experience in capital market operations, treasury, investment, asset management and occupational pensions.

My career began at UAC of Nigeria as a Brand Manager. I then worked on the institutional pension desk at BGL Limited, and headed the Asset Management Desk for the Private Banking unit at Fidelity Bank Plc. At FCMB Pensions PFA, I was one of the pioneers who set up the PFA from scratch, and I retired as Chief Operating Officer with over ₦250 billion in assets under management.

I hold an MBA from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and I am an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, the West African Capital Market School and the New York Institute of Finance. I am a member of the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education.

I write for BusinessDay and Nairametrics, among other business journals and blogs.
